What We Collect

When you create an account or place an order, we collect:

• Institution or lab affiliation (optional)
• Organization type and research field (optional)
• Shipping address
• Your research-use certification
• The contents of your order

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or cryptocurrency keys on this website. Payment is arranged by emailed invoice. Bank transfer / ACH details go to the receiving bank. If a crypto invoice is offered, it is created by a third-party payment processor; that processor, not this site, handles the wallet or payment address.

How We Use It

• To review your order for research-use eligibility
• To fulfill and ship your order
• To provide customer support and handle claims or refunds
• To authenticate a research account, if you create one
• To meet legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests from authorities)

That is the complete list. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your orders.

Who We Share It With

• Hosting / CDN: Cloudflare, which serves this website
• Authentication: Clerk, if you create or sign in to a research account
• Shipping carrier: FedEx, to deliver your order (name, address, and phone if provided)
• Payment providers: the bank receiving an ACH / wire, or the crypto invoice processor named on your invoice. We do not receive or store the payment credentials you give those providers.
• Independent laboratory: lot identifiers only, when we submit material for a Certificate of Analysis
• Authorities: where disclosure is legally required

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not place third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies and similar storage

This site uses functional storage for your cart, research-use gate acknowledgment, and (if you sign in) your session. Cloudflare may collect privacy-preserving traffic analytics to operate the CDN — no advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking, no sale of that data. Clerk sets session cookies only if you use a research account.

How Long We Keep It

Order records (who bought what, when, and where it shipped) are retained as required for tax and regulatory purposes. We do not keep personal data longer than those obligations require.

Your Rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete data we are not legally required to retain

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and Florida) may have specific statutory rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor verified requests from any US resident regardless of state.
